
Free Fire Esports World Cup (FFWC) 2025 is the Free Fire global championship held as part of the Esports World Cup 2025 multi-game event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The tournament features 18 professional teams from around the world competing to be the best in mobile esports, with a total prize pool of USD 1 million. The tournament runs from July 16 to July 20, 2025.
Tournament Format – Three Main Stages
1. Knockout Stage (July 16–18)
- The 18 teams were divided into 3 groups of 6 teams each.
- Each team played 12 drop matches, for a total of 18 matches per group.
- Only the top 12 teams based on points advanced to the next stage (Point Rush and Grand Final).
2. Point Rush (July 19)
- The 12 qualified teams will compete in six matches that day.
- Each team will earn headstart points based on their finishing position, which will then carry over to the Grand Finals.
3. Grand Finals – Champion Rush (July 20)
- 12 teams start the Finals with headstart points earned from Point Rush
- Champion Rush format with up to 10 matches: the first team to reach 80+ points and win a match (Booyah!) is crowned champion. If no team reaches that point threshold, the highest-placed team after the final match wins.
